The American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) is fighting the good fight for music makers insuring that the creative efforts manifested in the creation of original music are justly compensated. In an environment where it often takes at least one million streams on Pandora to result in $100 to the artist who wrote the song, it is a vital fight. It has been a great pleasure to assist ASCAP in celebrating the outstanding talent they represent at three of their annual award shows: The El Premios (Latin), The Film and Television Awards, and The Rhythm and Soul Awards. Every year we look to bring a fresh look to the dinner shows that always boast four to five headliner performances and over 60 awards.
